Terms of Service
Last updated: August 8, 2026
These terms form the agreement between you (or the company you represent) and SaskInventory. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. Please read the billing and cancellation section carefully.
1. The Service
SaskInventory is a cloud-based inventory, asset and operations management platform provided on a subscription basis. Features available to you depend on your plan tier and any add-ons your company has purchased.
We may add, change or remove features over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period without notice.
2. Accounts and Responsibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by the sub-users your administrators create.
Your administrators control user roles, location assignments and permissions. It is your responsibility to review these and to remove access promptly when a person leaves your organization.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis in Canadian dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects your renewal.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until payment succeeds. Your data is not deleted during a payment issue.
Applicable Canadian taxes are added where required.
4. Free Trial
Where offered, a free trial gives you access for the stated period without payment. We do not require a credit card to start a trial. At the end of a trial, access to paid features stops unless you choose a plan — your data remains available for you to export or resume with.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@saskinventory.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Because subscriptions are billed in advance for a period of service, fees already paid are generally non-refundable. We will, however, issue a refund where the service was materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, where you were charged in error or after a valid cancellation, or where a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
To request a refund, email support@saskinventory.ca within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the reason. We review every request individually and respond within 10 business days.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
•Attempt to access another customer's data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission.
•Use the service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
•Resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
•Interfere with the service's operation, including through automated scraping that degrades performance for others.
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, with notice where practical.
7. Your Data
You own the business data you enter into SaskInventory. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, back up and display that data in order to provide the service.
You can export your data at any time using the built-in export tools. On termination, you remain able to export for the duration of your final billing period.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Third-Party Integrations
Optional integrations connect SaskInventory to services we do not control. Their availability, accuracy and terms are the responsibility of those providers, and we are not liable for their outages, changes or data handling.
9. Availability and Support
We work to keep the service available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where possible.
Support is provided by email at support@saskinventory.ca during Canadian business hours.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. SaskInventory is a record-keeping tool: you remain responsible for verifying your own stock counts, valuations, compliance obligations and any decisions you make using the data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data where you had the ability to export it.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, breach of these terms, or where required by law. Where we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid, unused portion of your subscription.
12. Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the updated terms.
